Q: How do I obtain E&O Insurance?

A: Choose Any Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance provider. We recommend NAPA Benefits -- Plan B particularly for newly licensed agents. Minimum coverage requirements: $1M per aggregate claim, $3M total coverage. PURCHASE HERE

Business Information

DBA (Doing Business As):

Select Individual, unless you are contracting under a Business NPN (In which case, select Business)
- Yes, if you are contracting as a business, your entity needs to be licensed.
- If your business is not licensed yet, we recommend contracting as an individual.

Are You Registered with FINRA?

You will know if you are registered for FINRA. The answer is usually No, it is for Securities and Exchange commissions.

Bank Information

Q: Can I upload something other than a voided check?

A: No. You must upload one of the following:

A voided check, or
An EFT form that includes an image of a check

Important: If the check is in a business name, your full name must also appear on it.

CE & AML Training

AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Training is required. Choose one of the following:

Agents are initially appointed in 8 states
Only request appointments in states where you actively plan to write business
Appointment fees apply per state

Overrides & Licensing:

Pre-appointment required in FL and VA to receive override commissions (counts toward the 8-state limit)
You must be licensed (not necessarily appointed) in the following states to receive overrides:
- CA, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MT, NM, PA, SC, TX, VA, WI

If operating under a business entity, ensure licensing in these states as well:
